In 2009 more than 40 non-profit organizations, over 1,000 artists and performers and over 100 volunteers came together to showcase the talent and creativity of San Antonio in a city wide celebration. Close to 200,000 people attended.&lt;/div&gt;

			<description>&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The 27 organizations that are currently qualified for operating support from theFund met the following criteria:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity who is categorized with the Internal Revenue Service as an arts and cultural entity;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;have been in existence at least five years from the date of their application;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;have an annual operating budget of at least $200,000;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;have at least one full-time paid professional staff position;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;have an office(s) located in Bexar County;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;are not an individual artist or government-related agency&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;conduct an employee campaign for their organization&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;have a proven broad-based community impact&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;display theFund logo and statement in all programs and publications &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Each year the theFund Allocation Committee reevaluates each organization&amp;#8217;s&lt;/strong&gt; proof of fiscal responsibility. Allocation payments are &lt;strong&gt;determined based&lt;/strong&gt; on a percentage of audited expenses. &lt;br&gt;

			<description>      We officially kicked off our 2009 Annual Campaign, hosting our first corporate event at Rackspace Managed Hosting in partnership with their Rack Gives Back program. The evening of February 12th, Rackers, and their families, were treated to a spectacular evening of performances by several of theFund's affiliate members; The Ballet of San Antonio, Carver Community Cultural Center, Gemini Ink, Guadalupe Dancers, San Pedro Playhouse's Broadway Players, and KRLN.      Guadalupe Folklorico Dancers    Camp Broadway Stars from San Pedro Playhouse    TheWitte Museum, Blue Star Contemporary Art, TPR, Museo Alameda, and theMcNay were in attendance with display tables to help the Rackers find their inner artist. 			<description>                             Polly Underwood and Rod Rubbo  Citibank just recently completed a week long campaign October 19 &amp;#8211;23, 2009 that included the following activities to raise money for theFund.  Clothing Pass Fund Raiser &amp;#8211; $15 passes were sold that entitled staff to wear shorts, T-shirts and sweatshirts each Friday for a 5 week period with all proceeds going to theFund.  Open House &amp;#8211; the Fund affiliates share information about their organizations programs with the employees from 11 to 2 on Wednesday October 21st.
